Emily Mortimer was driven around the bend by Cars 2.
The 39-year-old Shutter Island actress voices one of the four-wheeled characters in the much anticipated sequel but says much of the subject matter passed her by.
“I had kind of a hard time with some of the descriptions,” says Emily.
“You know that thing where you’re in a car
and you’re on your way somewhere and you just stop listening at the moment that you absolutely must listen to what they’re saying? It was a bit like that with this because it was so technical. They’re all getting such a kick out of all the different cars, and what that means and I’m just like (under her breath), ‘I don’t know what the f*** you’re talking about.’”
