Brett Lockett 'I've never met Kim Kardashian'

Brett Lockett has backtracked on his claim to have embarked upon an affair with Kim Kardashian, admitting that the pair have never actually met. 
The NFL star told reporters this week that hehad a five-month text message-based relationship with Kardashian, which continued even when she began seeing fiancé Kris Humphries. 
Kardashian denied Lockett's allegations and threatened to take legal action against the 24-year-old and In Touch Weekly, the magazine that first published the story. 
In the wake of the reality star's legal warning, Lockett clarified to CNN's Showbiz Tonight: "I've said before that it was a physical relationship. But when I mean 'physical' I say that meaning there was a physical aspect in the relationship, meaning that, I don't really want to get into the details."
When asked by show host A.J. Hammer if the two had ever met, Lockett replied: "No, we have not. She was very busy."
However, the New England Patriots player insisted that his account of the 'fling' was truthful, adding: "I do not plan on apologising or retracting anything. What I've said is the complete honest truth. You can't fault somebody for telling the truth. That's just plain and simple.
"At the end of the day I don't understand how you can take somebody to court and sue somebody for telling the truth, because once we all go to court, we are all under oath."
