Jennifer Hudson hospitalised for food poisoning

Jennifer Hudson was hospitalised on Friday morning after complaining of "severe abdominal pain". 
The Dreamgirls actress became ill after performing on Good Morning America as part of the show's Summer Concert Series in New York's Central Park, reports E! Online. 
She then sought treatment at a local hospital and was forced to cancel a scheduled appearance on CBS's Early Show because of the illness, which was eventually diagnosed as food poisoning.
Hudson's rep later released a statement saying: "After performing on Good Morning America earlier today, Jennifer Hudson went to the hospital due to severe abdominal pains. She was treated for food poisoning and released."
Hudson was recently cast in a supporting role for the upcoming Three Stooges film.
